Design: Philanthropy Stories

These series of flyers were distributed throughout the University of Michigan’s School of Education in celebration of their first Philanthropy Day. The flyers not only acknowledged various key donors in the School’s history, they also raised awareness about the power of philanthropy amongst the SOE community by encouraging further engagement through a QR code. Those who chose to read more donor stories online and fill out a quick survey about the event were then entered into a raffle to win an Amazon gift card as a thank you.

The clean, classic design followed the University’s brand guidelines, utilizing the well-known maize and blue as well as the distinct block M. The simplicity of the flyer and its use of whitespace (or blue space — Go Blue!) allows for what’s really important to stand out, the donor story at the center of each design.
